Going north for a long weekend.

Tomorrow, Friday 5, December, Deb and I will be going north to the capital city of Malaysia which is also it's largest city.

Kuala Lumpur is the home of the world famous Petronas Twin Towers and our hotel is within walking distance of this site.

We are taking a luxury double decker bus to KL and are excited to see some country side.

One thing I must say about my trip so far is you are never alone in Singapore! People, people everywhere at anytime of the day at any place you may happen to be. No matter which direction I seem to be traveling down the street it feels as if I am going in the wrong direction. However if I just turn around and go the opposite direction the same feeling ensues. Seas of people in mass at all times.

Today, Thursday 4, December, I plan to play tourist and get on one of the "Hop on, Hop off" tour buses. You simply pay your fare and then "Hop on" when ever you want and "Hop off" when you feel like it as well. I think this will be a good way to see some of the sites I have not yet reached via the MRT (subway) and be with other tourist and hear their excitement as well. This city is so huge and so diverse and the skyline is amazing. I can not wait!

This might be my last post until next week when we return from our holiday up north.
